Test run at the Radisson Blu Media Harbour, Dusseldorf
In a comprehensive study, our Luxcaire coating was independently tested by Radisson Blu.
How it was tested: In this independently run trial, participants were all allergy sufferers or experienced respiratory illnesses, dust allergies, chronic lung diseases and other allergies.
In previous hotels, they had always been dissatisfied and could never get a good night's sleep. The test guests first slept one night in a conventional hotel room, and on the second night stayed in an identical room with our coating.
After their stay, they filled out a comprehensive questionnaire, answering questions about the first and second night. Results: All test guests reported that their first night was worse and more strenuous, with complaints of coughing and runny noses.
These results didn’t just surprise hotel management!
Every participant gave their second night full marks!
To the positive surprise of the hotel, Rheinpuls and the allergy sufferers, the guests had a completely symptom-free night. In fact, they slept better than they had in a long time.

Problem: After the events of 2020, Hotel Quellenhof saw a trend among its guests and staff: people were more attentive to their health, inner balance and calm. We breathe fresh air every day, and it is now being recognized as a valuable asset.
Hotel management sought a solution that would rid the air of pollutants such as viruses, bacteria, fine/ultrafine dust, mold, and unpleasant odors.
However, traditional solutions such as electronic air purifiers weren’t an option. Due to their high energy consumption and the regular need for disposal of hazardous waste (HEPA filters or UV lamps), they didn’t meet Hotel Quellenhof's sustainability standards.
Solution: Windows and walls were coated with Rheinpuls Luxcaire, so the indoor air can clean itself. Pathogens, fine dust, and even odors are neutralized, 24/7.
